This time of the year bluefish in the North Atlantic are more ubiquitous than medical marijuana laboratories in Rhode Islander’s basements. I bring this to your attention because I just found out that the guys over at Roberta’s in Bushwick, Brooklyn recently held a pot-lovers dream dinner party for their friends at GQ magazine which included a local bluefish dish! By the sound of it , things went swimmingly. Roberta’s catering chef Ryan Rice created a weedy seasonal seafood course made of local bluefish dish for the event which entailed smoking the fillets with the vapors of a marijuana strain called Sour Diesel. HAHA!
The dish was served with Roberta’s own rooftop garden blend of greens with a marijuana vinegarette and a weed yogurt dressing. Just thinking about it makes my head spin.
